Little girl with broken wings,
abused for years by her father,
a monster doing terrible things,
to tell her mother, why bother

The little girl was scared,
broken living in a black hole,
silent because no one cared;
hideous monster stole her soul

Her wings broken beyond repair,
emotionally, mentally impaired,
now an adult instilled with despair;
agony and pain, nothing compared

The little girl fervently prayed,
her broken wings to be restored,
to become strong and fear to fade;
God answered her request in accord
