Somewhere to Dream

Somewhere I can sing,
Where I can heal my wings.

Somewhere exciting,
With the wonder it brings.

Somewhere I could call home,
If I never had anywhere to go.

Somewhere I could then come,
When all I seem to do is borrow.

Maybe I won't know,
Or I'll just find out,
When all falls low,
I hear them shout.

What if I could run?
Have my fear undone.

Have my heart unafraid,
Have all of my debts paid.

Could I do this?
Reject such bliss.

Just to find a rainbow,
Somewhere I could go.

When all is raining,
I could be gaining.

Beautiful beams above,
Highlighting the dove.

With its wings in flight,
And its little heart alight.

With its eyes on a place,
Where it'll finish the race.

Somewhere to go,
When all is low,
Somewhere to smile,
After walking the mile.

Who knows?
How close,
We are to,
The truth.

Light glows,
On our toes,
Me and you,
Such youth.

Yet we stand a little bit higher,
Our hearts alight, like fire.

Even if we once again tire,
Love will always inspire.

I want somewhere to dream,
Another sensational stream,
Captivating all of me,
Guiding my heart to the sea.

I need somewhere to smile,
Where I can walk the mile,
And say I'm fine,
Whilst I'm walking the line.

Somewhere to dream,
Where all will seem,
Beautiful to you and me,
Where we can be free.

Somewhere to love,
Where skies above,
Shine colours so bright,
Illuminating the night.

Like fireworks alight,
Teaching us to fight.

Here we can ignite,
And live out our light.

Just like a dream,
That's what it'll seem.

Just like a stream,
Reflecting each beam.

Just like you and me,
Earth will be lively.

It's where we can be,
We shall be blithely.

This is where we will see,
All we never before believed.

At the end, you and me,
We will at last be relieved.

No longer breathing the poison we breathed,
And these demons now lost shan't be grieved.

We are who we are,
You can shine like a star.

And together we will be,
Content and forever free.

Yet alone I know that I,
Will never see a blue sky.

And I'll be searching for you,
For I know that you must be true.

But together you and I,
Can be rainbows in the sky.

On even the rainiest days,
We will bring light always.

Even when snow fills our hearts,
We will never be torn in parts.

And somehow we'll find a way,
To make it to a brighter day.
