The Emo Collapsable Pole

Okay, so Megan and I were really bored in English while our class (not including us) was analyzing poems. There was one about a pole in a tent, and someone in our class said something to the effect of "no one would write a poem about a collapsable pole (you know, like in tents, the ones that fold up)", and I'm not really sure how they got sidetracked to that, but Megan and I decided to write a poem about a collapsable pole just because it was funny. And this is kinda a joke, so I know it's wierd. If you wanna compliment Megan on her part in it (she wrote the best parts) her username is castaway on here.

----------------------------------------------------------------

A collapsable pole
Is just like my soul
It's like my heart
When it's torn apart.
And as it collapses and slowly dies
There is no one around left to cry
And without my soul, this collapsable soul,
The tent of my body slowly deflates as I bleed.
This pole no longer holds a tent
It buries my love which is gone and spent
No longer here to keep out the storm
It rains on my heart, tattered and torn.
