Lost Within

Loneliness fills her heart to the very brim
This sadness has become direly grim
She is losing herself slowly, and absolutely
Lost inside this bitter shell, it is laughable, truly
Painful to feel this winding abyss of sorrow
Maybe she will get release, hopefully, tomorrow
Begging for understanding and wishing for some passion
Lost, alone, and in such a dishonorable fashion
Save her from herself, and from the demon within
Break her away from this undeniable sin
She needs to believe that hope lies just words away
That something around her is begging, pleading for her to stay
Light begins to envelope her inch by inch
Just when all optimism had been taken, it rushes back in a cinch
With this light comes happiness, and the age of hope
Now with his hand she can finally begin to cope
