Seasons

The seasons change too fast
or maybe I'm too slow

The days drag on and on
but I don't feel the same

I'ts already May
But it feels like it'e December

I seem to be behind the times
because I just can't keep up

And when you left
I couldn't catch up with you

So you ran ahead of me
to run beside someone else

And now it's spring

But to me
the leaves won't grow back on the trees
and the air will still be bitter

Because I can no longer run in spring

To me, it is still winter
And you aren't beside me
