From: Yours Eternally

There once was a maid with sunlight in her hair
who sang defeat, so lonesome and distressed
She yearned so often for a lick of human kindness,
yet was so certain that she would always be loveless
/
She loved a boy with winter in his eyes:
a blue reminding her of a summer's sunny skies
Softly she cried, for he'd never look twice -
her torn composure his heart would never entice
/
Yet there he stood with his arms held open wide,
ready to tackle her roller-coaster ride
His frozen eyes appeased her smoldering frame,
and soon two broken souls began mending their pain
/
Her weary eyes slowly began gleaming again,
rendered speechless by his innocent charms
She permitted her sweetened heart to fall in love,
knowing he would catch her within the crook of his arms
/
Once a maid, now turned a knight's precious lady,
his handkerchief she waves highly with pride
Her shinning love, this time is not an impostor;
t'was perfection from their spirit's first collide
/
Anyone can see how lovely they match,
as Ice and Earth blaze lovingly again
Like day and night, they are perfect counterparts;
forevermore together: partners in crime
/
"If one day our love falls asunder my darling,
know you are my light in the darkness and my reason to live
Although such a day I never want to see,
know that my heart belongs to yours, eternally
