Clockwork

I am an ever-changing clock

My hands ticking, tapping out the minutes of my life
My face reflecting all the hours that pass me by
My gears wind and whiz, imagining incongruence but keeping a steady tick

I am an ever-changing clock, stuck in 12 hour time
Destined to tell others their fate, but never know my own
As seconds, minutes, hours slip through my fingers, never to be retrieved.
