Another Southern Summer
I live for the warmth of
Sunshine against my bare skin,
The symphonies formed by rocking chairs
And screen doors,
The heaviness that hangs in the balmy air.
With a blow, the seeds scatter.
And while I close my eyes,
I wish this magic would last forever.
Sunshine against my bare skin,
The symphonies formed by rocking chairs
And screen doors,
The heaviness that hangs in the balmy air.
With a blow, the seeds scatter.
And while I close my eyes,
I wish this magic would last forever.
