Fallen, Deep

The darkness enters. The fog, a tag along.
Heavy rains. Acid, quite like the blood that runs through my veins.
The sky is falling.
Holding me down. Weight on my shoulders.
Don’t care, grin. Grit and bare the pain.
Walking through the halls.
Shuffle. Slide.
An awkward stare, bump, or words.
Doesn’t matter…Smile.
Fake it. False like the teeth chattering.
At home. Alone now. All alone.
Nowhere to go, No one to see, None to hear.
Let Go.
The tears rolling down.
Gravity playing its role.
Drowning me with its great weight.
Don’t care keep on. Smile. Wave. Screw ‘em all.
‘Cause life goes on.
I’ll be gone. Up the ladder.
Climb higher and higher.
Hopefully not alone forever.
True love does come?
That is what I have been told.
