How You Make Me Feel
As the Sun Rises in the night to bring light to the morning
A smile spreads across my face as I see an Image on my closed lids
I see you behind smiling back at me just wanting you to be there when I open my eyes
I rush in the morning to see your face
It’s like I’m looking at the brightest star in the sky
I rush to feel your touch on my waist
It’s like a flower petal resting on my body just lightly touching but it feels like we’re very close
I rush to feel the taste of your lips on mine
The taste of your lips with mine are like the rays that the sun protrudes on a warm summer day
You warm up my day and make me smile
When you tickle me it’s like a bunch of butterflies fluttering around making me giggle like a little girl
Your smile makes me melt like ice cream left in the sun on a hot California summer day
I try to imagine what it would be like without you on this sunny and bright day but it hurts
It’s like the sun will no longer come out and warm my heart
I try to imagine living here without you and it just brings tears to my eyes
It’s like a hole with spikes at the bottom that I’m ready to jump in as the tears drop of my face
I try to imagine the day that we have our first fight and it breaks my heart that I know there will be a day that it happens
It’s bound to happen but when it does I know I’ll see you there and be happy that it’s you I’m fighting with
As the Sun sets after a long warm day it cools off the heat that has been surrounding us
