Superpower

His mind I easily read,
Only to find, that he wanted me dead.
The strength that I possessed,
Was definitely not the best.

The deep pain I felt inside,
Was one that I couldn’t deny.
The superpower within myself,
Wanted to break itself.

No control was taken,
When the enemy was awaken.
Once again I fought until the end,
So my superpower could not transcend.
