You Lied

You said,
You'd always be there.
But now,
I'm afraid to tell you,
When I'm upset,
Because you'll leave me.
You don't want to deal with it.
I'm too down,
All the time,
For your taste.
So I lie.
I say I'm okay,
Straight to your face.
But I'm not,
And you'll never know,
Because you've built me a new hell,
I have to fight to withhold.
You said you'd be there,
You lied.
