The Black Rose

The Black Rose

Black is all I see,
It is all my eye knows.
So cunning it is,
The Black Rose.

A rose with thorns like needles,
Silken petals that are like midnight.
An evil trickery, so shallow,
Like the unforgiving ways of twilight.

An evil that smells sour,
A beauty, so mild.
Yet so guile and treacherous,
The Rose will let your soul run wild.

Black is all I see,
It is all my eye knows.
So evil it is,
The Black Rose.

The stinging pierce of a thorn,
Kills your heart and soul.
The graze of a silken midnight petal,
Will make your eyes roll.

My soul has been stolen.
I can no longer live.
As my life slips away,
I have one last word to give.

Shy away from the Rose.
It lies in your sorrow.
Dont let it control you,
Or you wont live to see tomorrow.

Black is all I see.
It is all my eye knows.
So murderous it is,
The Black Rose.
