Autumn

Autumn is the most delightful season,
cool invigorating days take form,
no heavy clothing there’s no reason;
exception to the norm maybe a storm

Various colors brown, orange and red,
leaves fall, trees are naked and bare,
we prepare for the holidays ahead;
an enchanting site to gaze upon and stare

The tides rage within the ocean stronger,
at sight of first light, the beauty of dawn,
days are shorter and the nights longer,
the heat dissipates with Summer gone

Birds migrate to escape the cool breeze
Autumn soothes us and gives us ease
