Broken Doll

I’m as broken as a Doll that can’t be mended.
My seams have started to come undone,
My fabric is worn and fragile,
Some of my pieces are missing,
My stitching has reached it’s end and my filling is slowing disappearing.
There is no repair person able to fix my seams or replace my missing buttons,
To fix my lack of filling or my torn and damaged clothes.
Not even the buttons for my eyes that have faded and been broken and dented.
This mistreated doll has just about reached it’s limit.
No longer able to bring smiles to anyone’s faces,
No longer able to protect the owner from dangers,
Unable to heal the emotional wounds inflicted
Unable to perform its duties

Here lies this broken Doll. Torn at the seams. Unable to heal.
No longer able to fulfill her duties.

Never to Rest In Peace
