Lonely World

Lonely World
By: S. Rachele Chappell

Hiding beneath the sheets,
don't want to see the light.
Maybe all this sleep,
will make me fell alright.
Look outside the widow pane,
it's a reflection of me.
The world is spinning past,
it's you I want to see.
Haven't left the house in days,
don't know where to go to.
Every time I go somewhere,
I want to run to you.
I'm waiting for the phone to ring.
Could it be your call?
It's so hard in my lonely world.
Why did we have to fall?
It seems I'm walking blind.
Will I ever see?
Could we ever get somewhere?
Could we ever be?
My heart it hurts so bad,
my body's getting weak.
I'm aching for my other half,
It's you I try to seek.
Listening to the radio,
their playing our song.
To have one more dance with you,
wish I could right what's wrong.
Stepped into the bubble bath,
to wash away the pain.
All I feel inside my soul,
is the pouring down of rain.
I'm living in a lonely world,
some say I should get over you.
My hearts been stuck on you for years,
now I don't know what to do.
Living in this lonely world,
fate won't let me get to you.
Things are looking grey from here,
show me how to make it through.
