Dead Man's Poetry

If dying doesn't take away this pain
I hope tomorrow at least
I'll still be in this grave
Thinking of the past
Memories start to come back
Reliving every happy moment
Until it seems to fade away
Such an ironic tombstone says
You will find your peace
When that's why I'm down here now
Not even as deceased
I can't seem to recall at least
Ever knowing what it means
But at least down here I can plan it all
It's so funny I squashed so many bugs
But now they seem to take there revenge
Picking at my rotting flesh
Happiness is something that you might never find
Like a lover that you can't say is completely mine
Family's and friends cry because they say they miss you now
Even when they didn't realize
The person was gone long ago
They just never looked me in the eyes
My eyes so dry from the tears i shed
When I realized I had nothing left
I was never a gambling man
Never had the chance to be a family man
Every girl hates nice guys
While putting make up on so they can hide there lies
Well I guess down here there's nothing new,
I don't know if there's another side
Or maybe I'm stuck in my Allaby
The letter I left didn't really explain why
It just explained how life worn my down over time
And now I guess it's time to go
To people and friends I barely know
Life is just a drama,
There's an unknown end in sight
So if your happy now don't let it get away
Because you just like myself
Will end up down here some day.
