Title Undecided

And suddenly it all felt real
in that moment of silent darkness
This was the last night
Of her childhood
Everything was different now
All her feelings about it
Came crashing down like water,
Suffocating her
She couldn't breathe outside
Pained..
Short...
Gasping...
Sobs...

This was the last night to
Remember how much she'd grown here
And the view outside her window...
The one burned into her memory
Like a scar on skin

She knew this was the last time
She'd set foot in her home
The place she'd had her first kiss
The place she'd lived for just about as
Long as she could remember
The place she'd cried out her first heartbreak
All the birthday parties.
All the sleep overs and friends
All the memories

She was saying goodbye...
and Boy did she suck at those

Part of here was dying
And she ached
And Mourned herself

She truly thought this day would never come...
