A Pirate's Last Wish

Emotions toil and rumble, like the unpredictable sea.

Crashing and crashing, they collide.

Clouds roll in, thunder claps.

A captain takes a swig of his rum, he had just lost his wife.

"Take me!" he calls to the storm. "Take me, and leave me no more!"

Lightning strikes; he cackles. For fear is far from his bones.

Waves begin to climb the ship, rocking it like a newborn's crib. "Take me." He whispered brokenly.

Lightning strikes thrice; once for his wife, the ship, and alas, him.

"Yo, ho, yo, ho, the Pirate's life killed me."
