The Long Winding Road
Ironic, life's mystical twists and turns,
the crossroads winding ever to long,
with highways of miles to burn along;
dazed and confused, though I yearn
To walk daily oblivious without caution,
through every road and intersection,
unlimited options it would be awesome;
careless without guidance or direction
The path unworn is the one I will take
in wake of if the choice wrong or right,
the long winding road I will not forsake;
I will not succumb to feeling contrite
I will walk the long winding road forthright
in pursuit of my quest everyday and night
the crossroads winding ever to long,
with highways of miles to burn along;
dazed and confused, though I yearn
To walk daily oblivious without caution,
through every road and intersection,
unlimited options it would be awesome;
careless without guidance or direction
The path unworn is the one I will take
in wake of if the choice wrong or right,
the long winding road I will not forsake;
I will not succumb to feeling contrite
I will walk the long winding road forthright
in pursuit of my quest everyday and night
