To Be Old, Yet Feel Young

The music of a carousal plays in my heart
Youth, how wonderous, with no stress of this evil world

Peter Pan, immortality, to be a kid forever,
But with that comes no pleasure - apart from the Pirate's treasure

"I don't want to grow up," you hear a lot of people say
They don't take anything serious, they want to play

An old man you see sitting on an old wooden bench,
A smile on his face, his eyes lit up with happiness - to be a kid at heart is the true happiness

Old and young, at the same time,
is better than being less happy

The weight of the world is heavy, heavier than a chevy,
Think of good times, of a love that made you blind, and all the toys you've gotten at Christmastime

You can be young, yet feel old
Be old, yet feel young
Live everyday like Peter Pan, so happy, till your time on this earth is done.
