My Addiction

My Addiction
By Aaron Ducker

You run right thru my veins
Like an antidote for loneliness
You alleviate the pain
But you leave another in its place
What drove me to you now
I run, but I can't outrun your rush

You're my addiction
How I wish I never met you
You're my affliction
How I wish I'd never get you
Always deep inside my skin
Always trying to get in

You drove me into darkness
You killed the lights I lit inside
Now the faces are just heartless
You kiss my lips with the mouth that lied
And I cannot live without you
And I cannot live at all

You're my addiction
How I wish I never met you
You're my affliction
How I wish I'd never get you
Always deep inside my skin
Always trying to get in

No matter where I go
You'll be there with me
I cannot just say no
With your hand around my throat
You are the air i breathe
Yet you wanna watch me bleed...

You're my addiction
How I wish I never met you
You're my affliction
How I wish I'd never get you
Always deep inside my skin
Always trying to get in

You're my addiction
How I wish I never met you
You're my affliction
How I wish I'd never get you
Always deep inside my skin
Always trying to get in
