Substance Abuse

They say blood is thicker than water and yet you've still managed to drain my veins till they collapse in on themselves
Because it's completely normal and morally correct to play with someone's feelings for your own twisted pleasure
As if my love was alcohol you could scarf down whenever you desired to feel admired for your apparent drunken divinity.

You turned me on to cigarettes, which is ironic,
Because the tar that will forever remain in my lungs
Is an accurate depiction of the influence you've had on my life .
And as I am with cigarettes, I'm addicted you.
I attempt to shake you from my life and my body will go into paralyzing withdrawals.

Maybe the next girl you prey upon will have read the warning label you display
Declining the short euphoric spell you cast and
Refusing to let you desecrate her essence as you've done with so many before.
