Your rough tongue caresses my face
Your sharp nails prick my shoulder
The rumble in your belly vibrate upon my chest
I wake up to your beautiful eyes
I smile at you and you smile back
I place my hand upon you head
And feel you soft grey hair
Your ears twitch and you lick my nose again
I put my arms around you
And pull you close to me
But it’s your nature to squirm away
You fall onto the ground and stretch
I smile and laugh at the truth
