Woodland Wishes-Curios Paths

A charity run entered, long forgotten.

Senior pupils motivate none in me.
The peaceful silence of a woodland track.
Just to be reminded of the M6 to the right,
But not a sound to the left, just my shallow breath.

So many curious paths, lead astray.
Like an ice cream truck, calling a child's heart to play.
My mind starts to wind down the winding road and takes my body with it.
But straight I must go for I should finish.
if I wonder down the many paths astray.
A screaming ill get from a teacher so heated,
That we call it a grouch.
