Gondola

a little gondola cuts through water
drifting through the canals
with lights on the ripples
and me in its hull

there is much to say about a gondola
and not much at all
but if you have the chance to ride one
if you have a chance to see the world drifting by slow and fast all at the same time
i only wish you the best
