More Than a Love Poem

This is a love poem
You'll never be read
Spoke in a language
You'll never understand
From a girl
You'll never get to meet

Despite all these things
She loves you
She loves you in so many ways
More ways that I can count

This girl is a part of me
Each piece of our being tightly woven together
We end up in a messy tapestry

And you're staring...
And its driving us crazy
Because we don't know which you find more beautiful
And it hurts because I want you
To find me more beautiful...

I'm standing here so lost in your eyes
Wondering if you see there are two of us
Closed in this body
Screaming for you to say you love me more

She's sitting on the floor of my mind
Tears in her clear blue eyes

She looks just like me
But there's a division between us
All she wants is someone to hold her hand
But me...
I want so much more than just a man
But somehow you've stolen both our hearts

And I feel like I'm drowning
From all this love in my brain
You're always there, like a sickness I can't fight off

She's singing out your name
While I'm cursing your smile
She's swooning over your eyes
While I'm screaming for a life raft
I'm falling and I can't run away

And I'm terrified because I'm sure you're
Staring at here...
