Parasitic Symbiosis

Swallow my viscosity but keep me afloat,
That way I live inside your throat.
If there is something you must croak,
I'll hang to every word you spoke.

With this contract that we have signed,
I want to hurt you but I'm blind.
We twist and turn but never combine.
Yet, somehow, we still intertwine.

You are a blessing, I'm the curse.
For both of us this will get worse.
I'd like to kiss you on your cheek,
But it would make our future bleak.

I never was one to sustain.
This poison seeps into my brain.
Am I the curse or am I cursed?
In murky waters, we're submersed...
