there are two-hundred seven million results.
Do the same on Bing,
you get twenty-seven million results thrown at you.
On each search engine you are given Dictonary.com
at the top of each result list on both sites.
Here alone there are eight definitions,
one being;
“an act of plunder, violent seizure, or abuse; despoliation; violation.”
This is how the internet sums up the growing epidemic of rape.
The World Wide Web is a place that harbors its own unique rape culture.
Yet it sums up this rampant issue in ten words.

After hearing about the Sam Pepper controversy and the VeeoneEye I started to really be bothered by the number of girls coming forward with accounts of abused inflicted on them by not only these two Youtube personalities but a bunch of others. Youtube for me has always been a place to go where I can escape and feel safe. But now it has been tainted. So doing research I have been even more disturbed. There are people out there standing up for these foul people, saying horrid things that led my to write this poem. I realized that this posting might be a little late to be relevant but I took great care when writing this piece. I apologize if this is triggering to individuals.
