Pain

Cold nights and broken hearts
an empty bottle and drugs to start;
A long night of sorrow for humanity begins its part.
Over and over the cycle remains
dealing out sadness and endless pain.
Another loved one seemingly gone missing
another lost within a brutal killing.
To live is to feel pain.
