What I Learned at MIT

While I never attended MIT
I spent a lot of time on campus
dating then living
with a Ph.D. candidate'

Though while his days were filled with work,
mine were often spent
working various temp jobs
some at Harvard some at MIT

There's also the art modeling @ Harvard, Rice & SMU
but we'll save that for a different poem

Anyway, what I learned at MIT is:

Always wear comfortable clothes when going to LustCon.

Everyone is a Star Trek & Babylon 5 fan.

You can't win at 21 b/c the Black Jack team runs the casino during Rush.

Lock picking 101 actually really is a real class-
that was a great July 4th on the top of Building 13.

People can reassemble police cars on top of a building dome,
complete with sirens and flashing lights.

Towel the door if you don't want everyone in the building
to complain about the nag champa incense - Or, other...
scents filling the air.

Yes, these are the things I loved at MIT -
Now, don't you wish you were me?

lol

I dated and lived w/a great guy from MIT in the early to mid 90s' - he was awesome - we're still good friends but don't talk often enough. Inspired by the many friends and my former lover - May MIT & You All "Live Long & Prosper."
