Poisoned

Using the shadow of night to his advantage
And his intoxication as a crutch
The viper crawls into the girls' bed uninvited
And poisons their minds with his venomous touch.

Unable to comprehend what he was doing
The drunken girls laughed and pushed him away.
Angered, he held one down, his lewd face looming
Over where her uncovered body laid.

The other girl fell off the bed, knocked herself unconscious.
The snake chuckled under his breath as he grabbed her breast.
The girl tried to kick him off as her thoughts grew ominous.
And as to why this was happening was anyone's guess.

Tears stained her cheeks as she screamed at him.
Every cry for help was slapped away by his hand.
Every attempt to get away was greeted with a pinned limb
Eventually, she just gave in, she couldn't withstand.

She lost sense of time as she watched the ceiling.
She tried to place herself somewhere else.
She tried to lose all sense of feeling
And ended up losing her sense of self.

The viper finished and slithered away into the night
And the girl stumbled into the bathroom.
She let the water run over her body until morning light
And tried to banish the shadows of him that still loomed.

She washed away all traces of her pain.
But she couldn't undo the damage.
She watched as blood spiraled down the drain
But couldn't erase the scars that remained.

She tries to move on but is met with depression.
She hides her pain behind false smiles.
And to remove all signs of her regression,
She tries to forget that she was defiled.
