More Than Color Green

I see it,
red on the ice,
I see it,
your fading light,
I see it,
regrets and guilt,
but then, it’s only pride.

I see it,
the lingering looks,
I see it,
the faking smiles,
I see it,
the quiet dreams,
you keep bottled up inside.

I see it,
your fleeting visions,
I see it,
the crying eyes,
I see it,
the hurt and pain,
you mask behind that smile.

I see it,
the broken heart,
I see it,
the wounded soul,
I see it,
the scars that are,
they mark your battle zone.

A man who went to hell and back,
suffered, tortured, inflicting past,
but came back on other side,
strong character, building fast.

I see it,
the holding hands,
I see it,
the hugs you gave,
I see it,
the shift that came,
when your goodbyes were made.

I see it,
the screaming agony,
I see it,
the denial,
I see it,
when the news of yours,
leaves her broken and all dire.

I see it,
the single sigh,
I see it,
the last inhale,
I see it,
your final thoughts,
of faces that will wail.

I see it,
your pierced heart,
I see it,
your bleeding soul,
I see it,
that knowing smile,
which came when you realized.

That you are more than color green,
more than hero, they made you out to be,
a man of will to cross the line,
a Queen with actions much sublime.

Just my way of letting out whatever I felt after watching the mid-season finale of Arrow.
Feedback is welcome because it's my first attempt at poem thing and I would like to know how I did and where I can improve. Thanks.
