I have found what I have been looking for

A starcrossed lover, a soulmate, a world
A beautiful bud waiting to unfurl.
I have found someone who doesn't complete me
But someone who compliments my being
Someone who allows me to attempt flying
And catches me when I come swan diving.
A challenger, a warrior, a competitor, and a fighter
Someone who doesn't believe in idle chatter
Not afraid to tell me no, they force me to see
A new perspective, to truly help to better me.
I have found someone who's imperfections make him perfect.
Who's idiosyncrasies make him even more lovely.
Who's lopsided grin and hearty laugh
Make even the worst days seem more bubbly.
I love him and he loves me
With every fiber of our beings.
We are like sun and moon, night and day
He's the one who keeps my insanity at bay.
