A Poem Named "Desire"

the constrictor tightens around my throat,
and your lips savagely kiss mine.

there's honey leaking from the hive,
and you lap up as much nectar as you can.

i can't seem to catch my breath
when you whisper profanities to me.

then, we burst like fireworks,
and i can't help but grin.

i absorb your constant praise,
and fall in love with you all over again.
