Never Die Out

The sun burns,
And when I dream,
You turn,
And then I leave.

The wind hurts,
And when I sleep,
I care,
About you and me.

The snow blurs,
And when I see,
That you are there,
I rest in peace.

No, I do not leave,
But instead I stay,
And you stay with me,
And we live another day.

And we sing once again,
Like we used to do,
I see you in the rain,
And I offer you.

My coat,
My gloves,
I don’t mind,
I don’t.

My home,
My scarves,
Take what’s mine,
Even if I don’t.

Take a part of you,
I’ll take your smile,
Keep it close here,
And protect it for a while.

If you ever lose,
Your coat, take mine,
For I will be near,
Any place, any time.

If you ever need,
A friend to sing with,
Don’t stray, call,
And I will be there.

If you ever succeed,
And you’re soaring,
I will clap at the ball,
And I’ll be cheering.

Though, I won’t forget how I know you now,
Cos you’ll still be you; you’ll never die out.
