You Are Not Made of Your Mistakes

You aren't made of your mistakes,
Not fashioned from your failures.
You are not glued together by mishaps,
Or magnetized by your misgivings.
There is so much more to you,
Than the things you've done wrong.
Humans make mistakes,
Maybe humans are mistakes,
But we are not defined but our short comings.
Not unless you let them define you,
Determine who you are through disappointment and self hate.
You are only human.
Humans are not perfect,
But that doesn't mean that you're not something great.
