Stitched Up
You know the feeling you get when your
heart breaks?
But then after a while, when you
meet someone new, you can feel
your heart being "stitched together"
again?
Well, when you get stitches, you're only
halfway healed...
It has to heal itself the rest of the
way before the stitches can be
taken out.
And I think a while ago is when I was
"stitched up", when I met you.
But today, something changed
Today was the day I got my stitches
removed.
Today is the day I realised I am
healed.

i was texting my bf, and he sent me a text.. and after i read it, the only way i could describe how i felt was not that my broken heart was stitched together, but it had officially finished the healing process.
