I Wonder...
As I look out upon the field of wheat
I wonder how it would be to feel the wind
Softly blowing through my hair
Having nothing to worry about
No place to be
When the sun hits us just right we look like gold
Just swaying back and fourth
I wonder what it would be like to be the largest bird
Soaring through the air
Taking everything around me
Taking my time to grab my prey
Having people look at me in aw
How graceful I could be
I wonder what it would be like to be a wolf
Having a pack that looks after each other
Knowing where you stand in the pack
Not having to worry about anything
Only have to follow the laws of the pack
Listening to the Alpha wolves
How great would that be
What would it be like to be a horse
Being able to be care free
Grazing on the grass
Taking my time everywhere I go
Being cared for by humans
What would it be like to be prey
Knowing you're being hunted down
All the thoughts racing through your mind
Thinking on the best way to escape
I wonder what it would be like to be a Grizzly Bear
No way to be prey by the wild animals
Wondering around at my own pace
Sleeping through the long winters
Not having to follow anyone's rules
I wonder what it would be like to be a human
Who lives off the land
Never taking more than I need
Using everything I get
Never letting anything go to waste
Respecting mother nature the way it should be
What would the world be like without any laws
The crimes being over the top
People afraid to leave their homes
Not wanting to bring children into the world
The body count going up by millions and billions
Who would want to live in a world like that
What would it be like to never have wars again
Everyone working together for the common good
No one is higher on the line of progress then another
If one person makes progress then we all do
If on person struggles then we all struggle
What would it be like to never feel pain
To always feel good
To feel sad only when someone (including pets) pass away
To be able to do everything you ever dreamed of doing
What would it be like to be immortal
To never have to die again
Being able to see the whole world
Doing anything and everything we want to do
Never having to worry about not finishing your bucket list
I wonder who would ever be willing to have this happen
Since over time we would run out of resources
We would get board over time of seeing everything
Some might wish for death
That making one simple wish might end up
With millions and billions of people upset
We need to face it head first
The differences in our lives help keep us going forward
Keeps us want to get more
It drives us to work harder
To reach our goals
