A Simple Variation

Wherefore art thou a repulsive beast among the gods,
But man would see you as a foreign beauty on Earth?
Be there no end to the selfishness above us all?
To think gods us the selfish ones.
I'd think we learn from them.

Me and you both see a wrong in this world. Admirable...
But they have their reasons. I'm not like any other god.
They're so "pure" and beautiful. Glowing with pride.
It isn't that I'm beast-like. I am a beast.
A beauty of another kind.

One they are not accustom to.
