Dangerous Ancients

His body building fire, his skin burning against my flesh.
His grasp aggressive, yet eased.
His eyes told me the secret he's been hiding,
For what I see he's dangerously mad, completely consumed by my existence of faith.
But his heart is cold; solid from the pit within, but than again,
He's with me.
He held me tightly, his cold hands wrapping around my waist.
How could I not resist?
He's something forbidden to even connect.
But he stays.
He flies with me.
We are as ancient as Earth, but dwell in fear of rapture.
Forbidden from different worlds,
A secrecy of what will happen if spoken.
He takes me higher than the Heavens,
Far, far away to a place that we call Haven.
