Warped Tour 2013

My first time at Warped Tour
Was like my first day of high school;
Strangers were everywhere,
And I got lost at every turn.

The lines for basically everything
Were as long as a light year
And my patience was as low
As the lowest depth of hell.

Seeing some of my favorite bands perform
Was like a dog looking at a treat.
I jumped up and down like a traveling kangaroo
Since I was surrounded by guys
As tall as the Sears Tower.

Because the mosh pits were as violent
As a pack of wolves killing their prey,
I hid away like a secret.

By the end of the day,
My head was pounding like a drumline
Thanks to all the crowd surfers kicking it,
The ringing in my ears
Was as annoying as a faucet
Whose water won’t stop dripping,
And my skin was as red as blood
And touching it
Was like putting your hand in fire.
