Paranoia
I stare at a broken image
I take in all that now is.
This deformity I witness
Is me without you.
You, a part of me whom bore the mask
That sheltered me from being scarred.
That part of me is gone and I feel broken.
like shattered glass I lay amid the dust.
Worm-like in my nakedness,
I succumb to the light where all eyes peer.
