The voices are back.

I’m nothing, worthless, they say

I’m awake. They torment me in my sleep.
They show me my worst fears

My eyes sting from unshed tears

Pick up the knife, they say

I believe their every word
My back bleeds
It feels good…so…so good
I want to stop
I would if I could

Stop trying, they say
It’s useless, they say
