Flower Dance

The rose pedals hug each other at first glance

I see them huttled in resting stance

But as I bring myself closer too see

They spiral inward and dance with glee

Grateful for the kiss from the sweet honeybee

The smell in the air when the season is right

The flowers blossom overnight

Perfectly pretty, leaving a subtle scent

But gone sooner than the memory of a dreamĀ

I geuss I'll just have to pretend

Only then the season never ends
