Playground Blues Lullaby

Congratulations on the
tale of desperation
and the fact that you brought me down

Picking on the weaker kid
you must feel like a big man now
So when everyone leaves you
you won't be missed

But not this time
The blame is mind
I strung along your heart
and treated you like a kid

And now you won't be missed

Won't be missed

Crying crocodile tears
to show your connection
with the attention
of the little baby you are

See that even though you're drowning
everyone around you can swim
so go home tonight
close your eyes
imagine that they care

About the delima
let me give you some advice
tonight you're the star
but the game you play isn't fair

If you're going to go
Just let me know
So I can prepare
for the despair
of what you leave behind.

So I was going through my old notebooks that were lying around, and found my old song book. Not quite sure what this poem was about exactly, but I can tell at that point I must have been pretty upset about something, I guess. Also, I'm thinking about posting a few of the old poems from when I was in middle school/freshman year.
