A Short Piece of Paper

To others it might seem effortless
but using a pencil to write words
coming from the heart is the hard,
and for me its the hardest thing
I've done these past few days.

I didn't write much,
so don't expect a bunch of pages,
just a short piece of paper
with small words written on it.

Facts and feelings,
my love and my sorrow,
everything that makes me be me.

I'm lost.
I'm hurt.
I need you.
I love you.
