We are Like a Book

We are like a book, a novel.
The font of the beginning is colourful,
like butterflies and chocolates
but as our story goes on,
the font loses its colours
and slowly turns gray,
because the fights have begun
and we seem to lose interest in each other.
Towards the end
you can see the darkest hue of grey
and our ending could only be black,
a dark abyss to be lost in it.
We were so happy together,
yet so lost after breaking up.
We should have a sequel in our story.
One starting with black font,
then turning from dark gray to light gray.
Slowly getting our colours back,
a rainbow to fill our hearts.
We can do it only if we are together,
only if both of us want to.
