Loss

Loss is a vile feeling.
It violently portrays the true image of pure absence.
The thing most people do not realize, unless it's significant , is that loss is much more than an absence.
It can also be a feeling.
Sometimes the loss is so great, that it just empties you.
Nothing satisfying, no mercy
Just the absolute lonely feeling that consumes you all at once.
The pain is all too real,
Something along the lines of a tormenting nightmare that is endless.
One can't help but allow the piercing silence to sadden them to no amends, for you then realize what has gone missing.
One questions whether they are at fault.
Will this lingering feeling of withdrawal carry me to the grave?
Is my mind playing games?
Or maybe I have you to blame...
