I’m just a message in a jar
Sealed up tight from sunlight
I travel far
Will anybody find me?

I wash up on the shore
Seasick, a pinprick of light

This bottle’s slowly breaking

I stare up at the clouds
They float past as I grasp
At tiny grains of sand

As the waves push me out

As I sigh

I want us to explore the sky
